Concert Band
What is Concert Band?
- Students participate in the concert band ensemble for the duration of the year. This ensemble is the core ensemble for instrumental music at Lincoln Lutheran. This high art form established in America stemming from the Western music and military music traditions challenge students musically. Students develop skills in sight reading, technical facility, and musicianship skills and they collaborate and cooperate in a unified ensemble experience.
