The Foreign Affairs s are the next three America fought. These ocurred after World War 2. America had just established itself as the world super power and began lending a helping hand to those in need. These last few have helped brought change in America and the world.
These are all foreign affairs because America was never called out by another nation to fight but other nations asked us help. We felt obliged to help those in need. Kinda like how other nations helped us in our founding. Though in some cases, we ended up hurting more than helping.
The Korean War is Americas aide to help democratic South Korea stay free from the Communist North. Though because Korea didn't become a united country due to our intervention, North Koreans have a strong hate towars Americans. The Vietnam War was our attempt to keep South Vietnam free from the Communist North. Though Northern Vietnam suffered staggering loses, American opinion towards the war forced us to withdrawl. The 1st Gulf War was Americas aide to Kuwait to repel the Iraq's invasion of it. This intervention has created a lot of tension in the Middle East and plenty of resentment towards Americans.
