VARIATIONS
There are many different variations/similar stories that are also myths around the world. They share similar characters, lessons, themes, and all around stories that have many common charcteristics.
Norse Mythology
Norse mythology has many of the same concepts as Greek mythology. They have many veery similar gods, and they often rule over the same domains. Odin is the head god in norse mythology, he is very similar to zeus, being the father figure to the world. Loki is very similar to Hades. Both are seen as the gods that are more on the evil side. Loki is the trickster god, often leading people into trouble and deceiving them. While Hades mostly onlt showed that characteristic while he snatched Persephone from Demeter's hands. Norse mythology has many of the strange monsters and things that would be impossible in real life, like a giant wolf, and many, many giants. Also, the gods in both act very, very similarily, they act very much like humans, but with more power.
Egyptian Mythology
Egyptian mythology is also very similar to Greek mythology. They have similar gods, domains, and myths. You can tell that often the Greeks and the Egyptians often exchanged their religious ideas with each other, probably often during trade, being in similar regions. Their head god was Osiris who, similarily to Zeus, was the father figure and headed over all the other gods. Many of the gods also had the same domains that they ruled over. Such as god of sea, the underworld, and storms. Many of the myths have similar themes and many of the weird unusual things in their myths, and it often follows the story of a mortal.
Native American Mythology
Then native americans are well known for their various beliefs and legends of the earth. The often exalt animals and different moments in nature as holy, or gods. They have legends, or myths retaining mostly towards creation, rather than heroes or monsters. They had deities like the thunderbird, who ruled over certain things, similar to greek mythology's gods. They also would sometimes have stories that would tell the people how to live their lives and how to thrive spiritually.
