Garageband is a master music maker. It allows you to plug in your instruments and record bits and
pieces of whatever you want. Garageband has built in amps and other extensions to mimic real amps
and accessories. Garageband also has built snippets of songs recorded by professionals that you can
add to your creation. You can also record multiple tracks and keep them neet and organized. With
Garageband you can also make your own ringotnes, podcasts, and share your songs online. Garageband
also has an option to give you lessons on whatever instrument you want.
iDVD makes it easy to put your video onto a dvd. You can create a dvd project, customize you video,
and burn copies of it onto discs.
iWeb is included in iLife and makes it easy to create your own website. It lets you design it, customize it
with photos, music, and videos, add widgets, and even manage and publish your website. As sort of an
extra feature it lets you notify facebook on how your project is going.
iWork
Pages is the Word of Macs. It is a powerful word processor. It has tons of graphic tools to help you lay
out a page and has advance writing tools.
Numbers is the Excel of Macs. It makes creating spreadsheets easy. It makes it easy to make formulas,
create organized tables, and neat charts.
Keynote is the Powerpoint of Macs. It lets you choose from over 40 themes, edit graphics, add
animations and effects, and make 3D charts and graphs. With Keynote you can even use you iPod
or iPhone as a remote to control your presentation while still seeing all the notes that your have.
With iWork you can still use and share Microsoft Office documents. This includes Microsoft Word,
Powerpoint, and Excel. You can even edit these files and save them.
Mobile Me
MobileMe is used to share things between your iPhone, iPod, iPad, and computer wirelessly.
It lets you sync your email, contants, and calendar between all of your devices. It even lets you
share photos. You can also use it to find your lost iPhone or iPad. With iDisk you can even share files.
Safari
Safari is the web browser made by Apple. It is easily customizeable, has a non-distracting
design, easily navigable, very organized, and has a high performance with its new nitro engine.
