Dr Pepper

Dr Pepper is the oldest major soft drink in the world. It was created in 1885 in the back of Morrison's Old Corner Drug Store created chemist Charles Alderton in Waco, Texas. Morrison's Old Corner Drug Store is owned by W.B. Morrison who would later on help sell Alderton's drink. Alderton would make medicine for the towns people, but in the mean time he would try different concoctions for soft drinks. Alderton liked the aroma of the mix of fruit syrups. He decided to make a drink that tasted like the smell. He made the drink and gave the owner some to taste and the owner liked it, he then decided to sell it in his store. People also liked the drink and named the drink "Waco".

The Morrison decided to change the name to Dr. Pepper but then in the 50s the period was dropped from the name. Dr Pepper has been around for 126 years and is still going strong today and a lot of people still love it. Even though the logo has changed thorugh out the years Dr Pepper still has its 23 different flavors in one.
