A brass instrument is an instrument that is a made out of brass. You create sound by blowing air in a mouse piece, a bowl shape, at this causes your libs to buzz. Notes are played by pressing valves down or sliding a slide, in the case of a trombone, and by buzzing your libs harder of softer.
