MMCCNs income is based on voluntary gifts from private persons, associations and businesses, as well as sponsorships agreements. Rakel travels around i Norway to visit schools and attend christian meetings to talk about her work. In his way more people larn about the conditions in Manila and they want to help the people there by giving money to Rakels cause. In 2009 MMCCN received over $ 740,000 in gifts, and the years profit were $ 288,000 after expences and costs.
Staff
The staff that carry out the day-to-day work consist of 40 College trained social workers, nurses, children�s nurses, economists, midwives, pre-school teachers, kitchen and cleaning personnel, chauffeurs and gardeners. They are all paid for their work, but Rachel herself receives no salary from MMCCN, neither do any of the other board members from their services.
