The Story Killers formed in the Spring of 2007 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The founding members - Tyler Spellman and Evan Wood - formed the band in Lincoln's Academy of Rock, and recruited Tyler Nicholas as a lead vocalist. After playing with many rhythm guitarists and drummers for the first year, they settled with only Tyler S. at guitar, and eleven year old drummer Casey in the spring of 2008. Since then, TSK has written more than 20 complete songs, and quite a bit more unfinish pieces. TSK has also recorded two EP discs: Super Happy Awesome Fun Time with Vince Ruhl and Derek Outson at Basement Acoustics in Lincoln, and Nothing is Uncomfortable with Matt Hovanek of Plan C Recording in Lincoln. The band may or may not be changing their name to Loco Motion (or maybe something else...) in the near future. Keep posted for more details... |
